Bodies of at least two elderly persons, including a woman, were found from various areas of the city on Saturday. Police and rescue sources said that the body of a 70-year-old woman was found near the National Highway in the limits of Steel Town police station.

Police said the deceased, who appeared to be a beggar, had been shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for an autopsy, adding that cause of her death was still unknown.
